Why Train Outdoors
“The best views are at the top of the hill.”
The outdoor medium
The options are endless when it comes to staying healthy. But in today’s world of powerful technology, many people are now feeling the urge to simplify and get back to nature. Exercising outdoors doesn’t just allow us to experience all of nature’s benefits, it also meets our need to stay fit and active. Combining these two elements seems a logical choice really…
THE DIVERSITY OF OUTDOOR TRAINING
The best training offers variety & stimulation, and exercising outdoors hits the mark!
Terrain, climate, different locations, they all contribute to physical and mental benefits that are hard to find anywhere else.
Carrying dumbbells up a hill or completing an overload activity in the soft sand; the terrain we choose to exercise on challenges our bodies as we adapt to the differences!
Training in the heat of summer or the cold of winter; the weather, climate, and elements can be so changeable! But this is not a disadvantage, it’s a gift because mother nature is providing variety, causing our body to work harder as it adapts to the conditions.
How would it feel to complete a HIIT session at the beach or Toning session at a Recreation Park? Exercising outdoors enables our gymnasium to be wherever we choose!
These few examples show how diverse and beneficial outdoor training can be and, at OPT, we take full advantage of it all!
